CJP holistic training solutions provide training in the holistic & beauty
field & health treatments within the corporate sector. I am based on the
Isle of Wight , but am also available to work in London, surrey, Hampshire &
the south coast.
My name is Catherine Dodd, I have been a holistic beauty therapist for over
15 years with much experience in all aspects the health & beauty industry &
have worked in London & Surrey as well as on the Isle of Wight in many
different settings, including Spas, salons, clinics & training venues. I am
fully qualified , insured & a member of several leading governing bodies to
insure that I work to a high standard, I have also worked in further
education.
I currently run a successful holistic beauty salon & training centre on the
beautiful Isle of Wight.
I specialise in massage therapy & treat a number of clients with specific
issues ie. Back complaints, stress & remedial related issues, but also
utilise Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Aromatherapy,
Hopi Ear Candling, Reiki, facials, Crystal therapy, Hot stone & Thai hot
compress massage to alleviate pain & induce true relaxation. With my aim to
help clients move successfully through physical & emotional issues as
quickly & effectively as possible.
I can honestly say that I am lucky enough to have found my true vocation in
life & look forward to what each work day will bring my way in terms of work
fulfilment.
The health & beauty industry is one of the fastest growing , therefore it is
essential to be highly motivated & highly skilled in all aspects of the
therapy you provide. Therefore I have split my training into 3 sections:
Workshops/ correspondence courses for those of you who don't want a
professional qualification but would like to extend your knowledge of health
to see if a qualification would fit into your life without committing money
& time to a course that you later regret. It is vital that you find the
right course for you so that if you do enrol on a professional course you
know that you have a happy working life ahead of you, that you are more than
happy to give 100% to, therefore putting you head & shoulders above other
therapists with your enthusiasm & knowledge.
Professional qualifications- these courses allow you to get the required
knowledge to deliver professional standard treatments & obtain professional
indemnity insurance, letting you work in industry ie. Salons/spas, cruise
ships, clinics, self employed therapist or freelance therapist to name a
few.
Continuing professional development- these courses/ workshops are aimed at
qualified therapists wishing to add to their existing skills.
I am based on the Isle of Wight within a spacious salon in the heart of the
countryside providing the perfect space for treating & learning as well
having access to everything you could need for your qualification, you also
have the opportunity to observe & indeed engage within a working salon
allowing to see what industry really expects from a therapist in a realistic
environment. I feel it is so important to build confidence at training level
so that you are completely ready at all levels to go onto the industry floor
excited as opposed to apprehensive!
I am also available for therapists who may have a qualification but have
been out of industry for some time & want to gain the confidence to get back
into it or perhaps you may want to train in a one to one intensive situation
to get through a qualification quickly but thoroughly.
